As the title we today used our learning to do the order taking. We also took orders at the gelataria where we served lot of gelatos and all in cones and chocolate cones and cupss. The most fun experience was when we were abled to take a bulk order on our own. We also gave our teachers a thank you card.

4rth day was another day of observing service station.


We tried a lot of times to get a chance to take orders. But no luck we observed the order taking 16 times and helped out with layout and menu placement. We also learnt about the kinds of menus.

We were sad the next day was our last day at amazo :(

As the photographers were the only people who had internships on Saturday. Today we learnt basic tools of Final Cut Pro and we learnt Power Director. Then we made a movie on Power Director. After making the movie we were free so we worked on our PPT.

Day-5

Today was the last day of architecture and we completed our Thermopylae models and they were looking pretty good. We also had a party. In this whole week we learned ratio proportion through making different kind of leaves and we also recapped the concept of geometry by making our Thermopylae models. This exposure of internships has taught us many things and will be a lifelong learning. Some of the things we learnt were that while making a good building we need to keep in mind about the neighbors, the climate and the it should be attractive and optimize the given space. We also learnt that different cultures influence different architectures. We also learned that the houses are made according to different topographies. Precision and accuracy was needed the most here. It was a great exposure for me and my peers. This whole learning could not happen without the support of Meghal ma'am and Nidhi ma'am

Today After the Prayer at 11:00 am we started by sorting the pictures and wrote "who has written what" on Excel  . After Lunch we played games on the computer as we had nothing to do till 3:00. Then we went to Patangyu School which is made by children. The school was made up with materials used in everyday life Eg: Plant fencing's. We worked there on Yes I am the Change Film Project which went out to be a great success. Then for our surprise we planted seeds over there.:P It was the best moment of today!!

Today was our last day for internships at "Arya Architects". We almost did nothing in the except for completing our models for picnic shelters. We ate lot of tasty food like pizza, pastries and more.
we have learnt many new things on this journey with Mr. and Ms. Arya and rest.

Day- 4

Today was a awesome day. We worked upon our Thermopylae models of a picnic place. It was hard making our models look like actual models but we had a lot of fun while making them and after lots of hard work we made our models look quite impressive. We got to learn many things through this experience such as patience, hard work, co-ordination and the concept of geometry and it could not happen without Meghal ma'am and Nidhi ma'am's support.

Photography internship 

First at 11:00 we had the prayer in which we met new people(eg: Gopal dada).Then we interns at Mam movies today learnt Photoshop and Picasa. Then,after we went to Vidya Mandir where we hit the best shots in photography. We worked with Sandeep sir and we seeked a lot of tips from him like placing a person where there is less of light. Vidya Mandir is a hostel for girls.As we went we got to click very less photographs but those were the best shots in life. here is one of our shots: We made new mistakes today as it is to be said :  make mistakes but never repeat the same mistakes. We had a lot of fun today at Mam movies.

Today the day started boring because we did not have any PC to work on and we only had to read and we read all the books. After lunch we finally got a computer. We called up our client and she still did not give us any details and told us still some more time. So we kept on exploring the website.

Day 3 at Amazo

today we had a choice of waiting tables so we chose it and for the next 3 whole hours we were observing the waiters serving food and how the use the serving fork and spoon

then we revised what we had done in the last session of our lyrical hip hop

Today, we continued our challenge given by our in-house clients that are Sulekha ma'am and Aruna ma'am.

They gave us the challenge to make their itenary  for Singapore. We also got a challenge to find how many hotel's are there in Goa, classify them into 1 star, 2 star, 3 star, 4 star, 5 star and 7 star and we had to find out how to reach Goa(in how much time and how).At the end of the day we had a surprise, a ice cream treat! Yummy!!!!! Today was a good day at Make My Trip.

As the day started the funny moment itself came in as we were here before the staff!! Later we had our daily prayer at 11:00 and then we had a group meeting where everybody discussed  the schedule for the next three days. Then we got tips by Mihika mam on how to take a photograph. Afterwards we explored Adobe Photoshop 7.0 and Picasa 3. As the time moved on the second half of the day we went to community center of Manav Sadhna and Rudra center for our  "Yes , I am the Change Film Project". The most difficult thing was we had to walk till there, the Rudra center which was about 2 km long. We were given a surprise treat by Meet Sir as we were very tired.

Cooking - Amazo - Day Two

Our 2nd day was fabulous. We had a lot of fun cooking 4 varieties of food. We learnt how to make bruschetta, manchao soup, penne pasta and cream of veg soup. Today we had a lot of fun and we learnt that we should always be accurate and precise while cooking and specially in restaurants.

DAY 2 AT MAKE MY TRIP

Working with customers

So today morning we had a quiz on the "states and capitals of India" and we were suppose to memorise the cities in the states and tell them. ( Hard Brain Memorising Skills!!)

We had 2 customers today, Mrs. Sulekha Nair and Aruna Sharma ( surprise visit) who wanted to go to Singapore for a week.We gave them a whole package with flight options, hotel options, sightseeing places and traditional dress of Singapore with what they should wear ( We almost called up the fashion designing group :D )

We had loads of fun and we love working at make my trip :) :) :) :)

Fashion designing - day 2

Today it was a really good day. We designed clothes, designed the outside area, designed accessories and helped each other. We learnt how to measure and deal with customers. It was the best day. We love working in Panache.
